After the pilot, this Altadena house became the exterior of the Walsh family’s supposed Beverly Hills home. The mountain-edge suburb and the 90210 fiction are intentionally kept separate here.
The Walsh house is the emotional threshold of the early series: Brandon and Brenda’s family base, visually sold as Beverly Hills while the camera is actually in Altadena. The location makes the show’s central outsider premise physical.
