1995–1996
California, larger than life.
The route now distinguishes three different relationships: recording history at Can-Am, the out-of-city “California Love” production landscape at El Mirage, and the Hollywood Chamber’s 2023 Walk of Fame dedication. Unsupported Crenshaw and Venice associations have been removed rather than replaced with plausible guesses.
Locations are sequenced as a fan journey, not a plot recap. Songs, scenes and episodes lead the route; changed, private and doubled sites are labelled rather than smoothed into fiction.
2 public-place or area references. Private properties and unlocated historic sites stay off the map.

01California Love was recorded at Can-Am. The recording connection is distinct from the desert setting of the original Hype Williams video.
A studio-history reference, not an advertised tour. No visitor access or exact studio entrance is established here.

02The first California Love video was filmed at El Mirage in November 1995. Its desert production is outside Los Angeles, even though the song is inseparable from the city.
