It was torn down after filming. Fox 13 describes the spot now as a grassy crater where farm animals graze.
The castle on the hill was built on a farm in Dade City and added to the neighbourhood with special effects.
The Reel to Real blog lists the film’s diner at roughly 2420 South Florida Avenue, Lakeland, says it no longer exists, and says the site now holds law offices.
Bay News 9 says the centre’s sign, built in 1957, is still there.
One extra who was on set almost daily said the bright colours have since given way to earth tones, and the area now looks like a real neighbourhood.
The bank vault where Edward applied for a loan is in the Rivergate Tower in downtown Tampa.

Casting coordinator Rose Rosen told Bay News 9 the bank exterior was shot on Florida Avenue South, at what was then a florists’ wholesaler.
