The places behind the film.

Location research is in progress. No filming pin has been assigned to this film yet.

Where the story is set.

These are real places depicted in the story. They do not establish where filming happened or an exact property to visit.

Los Angeles is the depicted city; the apartment is a constructed and extended setting.

The original Motion Picture Association production-designer interview identifies Los Angeles as the story setting. Nick Bassett describes sets in an unnamed Auckland warehouse and a four-storey former college exterior extended for the fictional apartment building. Los Angeles is depicted city-level geography only: no real Los Angeles apartment address or filming claim is inferred, and the Auckland warehouse, college and private lake remain unidentified.

Location research.

The warehouse and college exterior remain physically unnamed.

In the original MPA Credits interview, production designer Nick Bassett describes an unnamed rented warehouse used for constructed sets and an unnamed former college building in Auckland as the basis for the apartment exterior. No Kumeu, Studio West, Auckland Film Studios or X3 campus is named. The fictional Los Angeles high-rise does not identify a real Los Angeles filming property. No exact warehouse, college address or private cabin location is inferred.

Scope evidence ↗

The apartment exterior is an unnamed former college; its exact LorneStreet identity needs reconciliation.

Production designer NickBassett’s original interview confirms using an unnamed former college building for the exterior of EvilDeadRise’s digitally extended apartment building. It does not give its name or street number. Separate community film listings name ACGSeniorCollege and64LorneStreet, but that number is also associated with the central library, while a development at64–68Lorne describes a1929heritage facade. Do not conflate these neighboring/renumbered properties or identify the anonymous MountWellington warehouse. Retain Work-only scope for this exterior lead; the separately accepted Mainstream sound-mixing association is unaffected.
