An entire city, in motion.
The route favours public places that reveal the project’s scale and movement. Each stop is a fragment of the 24-hour edit, not a promise that the same dancer or hour was filmed there.
Locations are sequenced as a fan journey, not a plot recap. Songs, scenes and episodes lead the route; changed, private and doubled sites are labelled rather than smoothed into fiction.
5 public-place or area references. Private properties and unlocated historic sites stay off the map.
Place and area markers · not exact camera positions
An active transport hub: stay within public areas and leave passenger routes clear.

01Union Station appears in the 24-hour Happy project. Metro’s own account documents the station’s role, joining the video to an everyday place of arrivals and departures.

02Runyon Canyon is among the locations in the 24-hour video, shifting the mood from the built city to the hills above it.
Check park notices before setting out. The map marks the park rather than a verified dancer or camera position.
03Civic Center gives the “Happy” project one of its most recognisably public Los Angeles backdrops.
Civic building; check visitor entry rules and opening hours. Public street views do not require entry.
04Hollywood’s pavement crowds and performance culture make it a natural chapter in the citywide dance mosaic.
Use the public realm; do not enter production or private property.
05The original bridge’s industrial frame belongs to the Los Angeles visual vocabulary surrounding the project; the structure seen before 2016 no longer survives.
The original bridge was demolished in 2016; the current bridge is its replacement. Use marked pedestrian routes only.
A suggested story order, with practical access notes at every stop.
