Read in this order, then plan travel between the public locations. Historical references and private properties are not visitor stops. This is a story sequence, not a timed walking itinerary.

The Fisher family’s funeral-home façade belongs to a real building in West Adams. It anchors the show even when the rooms and events behind it are produced elsewhere.
Private property. This is a story reference, not a visitor stop; no directions are provided.

Sunset Gower is part of Six Feet Under’s production history. The studio connection should not be confused with the funeral-home exterior or treated as a preserved Fisher family set.

Two real cemeteries turn professional ritual into the family’s own emotional geography.

Mountain View Cemetery carries Nathaniel Fisher Sr.’s funeral in the pilot and recurs within the series’ landscape of ritual. It is a real working cemetery, not a backlot, and visits should remain quiet and respectful.
Visit only during posted cemetery hours. Do not interrupt services, approach mourners or treat graves as props.

The cemetery’s San Juan Hill landscape is associated with a direct exchange between Nate and David, making burial space a place for the brothers to say what the funeral home often leaves unspoken.
This is an active national cemetery. Keep to public roads and paths, observe all posted rules and give ceremonies complete privacy.
End at the Pacific edge used for the dreamlike passage in “Ecotone.”

Sycamore Cove supplies the beach in “Ecotone,” where Nate travels with Nathaniel and David inside a dreamlike passage between family memory and death. The real beach gives one of the series’ most liminal sequences its horizon.
Use the signed state-park access, check current parking and surf conditions, and leave the shoreline as you find it.
