A world beyond the screen

Follow Perfect Days through 4 real places in Tokyo. Hirayama’s repeated route finds variation, dignity and light in exact Taitō locations documented by the city film commission.

Perfect Days is built from repetition, but its geography should not be generic. Taitō City’s film commission identifies Sakura Bridge, Chikyūdō, Fukuchan and Kurenai no Hi Novu as exact production locations. Together they map Hirayama’s passage home, his reading habit and the two modest rooms where food and company interrupt solitude. The Shibuya toilet project remains central to the film’s premise, but individual toilet pins are not promoted here without facility-level scene evidence.
