A film about Little Italy that was mostly made elsewhere. Seven of its 27 days were shot on location in New York. The rest of the street is the Bronx, a Hollywood office building and a soundstage.

The stand-in

Little Italy, by way of the Bronx

A fan location list says much of the New York filming took place in Belmont, in the Bronx, standing in for Manhattan’s Little Italy.

The Cinemaholic, a fan site, also names Belmont as the stand-in for Little Italy.

The cinematographer says much footage was shot in New York before he joined in Los Angeles, but only six minutes of it remains.

On a $650,000 budget, most interiors were shot in Los Angeles.

The cinematographer’s remark comes from a search-result snippet of a Blu-ray review; the review page was not opened.
