Nope

A ranch and a Western town were built together in one valley. The rest of the shoot sits on a rope around it. In the band: the town as rebuilt at Universal Studios Hollywood, 2026.

Built once, shown twice

After filming, Kodak says, Jupiter’s Claim was moved to Universal Studios Hollywood and rebuilt. It now stands as a permanent attraction between the Psycho and Jaws exhibits.

Where it stands now

Time Out found the layout nearly identical to the film’s, minus a building or two and the mountain backdrop. Ruth De Jong planned the move to a theme park early in the production, Time Out reports.

Time Out says the rebuilt set opened on 22 July 2022, the day the film was released, and that guests see it from the Studio Tour, a tram ride of nearly an hour. Time Out walked the set on foot at a pre-opening event; the tram ride does not include that.

The rebuilt town is seen from the Studio Tour tram. The studio lots are working places behind gates. The valley is private land and its sets are gone, so it is pinned to the town only.
