EXIT 1WeehawkenThe Lincoln Tunnel Helix

The opening titles follow Tony out of the Lincoln Tunnel and down the Turnpike, past Newark airport, the Pulaski Skyway and the Statue of Liberty, to Pizzaland, the Muffler Man and Satriale’s.

A working road: drive it rather than stop on it. The Helix can be seen from public streets in Weehawken, such as Harbor Boulevard.

Kearny

There was never
a pork store.

Satriale’s was a vacant building at 101 Kearny Avenue, dressed only for filming; it was torn down in 2007.

The owner demolished it in October 2007 and sold about 1,000 pieces of the front to fans, for $25 and $50.

0 of 60 pieces sold · $0

Each tile stands for about seventeen of the thousand pieces; prices alternate between the $25 and $50 that fans paid.

Kearny’s enterprise zone paved the site as a municipal car park.

Nothing of the set survives. The site was paved as a municipal car park; there is only the spot itself to stand on.
